Select a guard: Attach one of the premium cutting guides to the clipper blade. Start with a longer guard if you are unsure of the desired length.
Adjust the taper lever: The adjustable thumb lever on the side allows you to customize the cutting length without changing the guard.
Open the lever for the longest cutting length (when using a guard).
Close the lever for the shortest cut and to clean up fade lines.
Use the "Crunch" blade: The Stagger-Tooth blade is designed for blending. Listen for the "crunch" sound, which helps indicate when your blend is complete.
Cut against the grain: For the most efficient cut, move the clipper against the direction of hair growth using smooth, overlapping strokes.
Use for blending and fading: Start with a longer guard to remove the bulk of the hair, then switch to shorter guards and use the taper lever to create seamless fades.
